Jan 28th Doctor Appointment

Well we've finally joined the weekly club! From here on out I will be seeing my doctor every week until I deliver. I can't believe we are here already!

Nothing too exciting to report from this appointment. I've gained 29lbs total and the doc is happy with my weight. My belly is measuring right where it should so that's good too.

We talked about some contractions that I've been having and he assured me that this was normal - these are just Braxton Hicks contractions (http://www.babycenter.com/0_braxton-hicks-contractions_156.bc). He asked if she was moving a lot and I told him that I am sure that she's almost a black belt by now. I've been doing my kick counts every morning and evening....10 kicks in a hour. She usually hits that in about 5 minutes - even less when her Daddy is singing to her :)

He also assured me that her near daily bout of hiccups was perfectly normal too. Poor thing I feel bad for her. She needs to quit drinking her home.

New Pictures and the Baby Shower!

Saturday was my shower and I had such a good time! Tirsa really outdid herself with all the food and the decorations. It really looked great! She will be sending out some pictures very soon to everyone so keep an eye out.

We got some great gifts at the shower and I have to say, we are pretty well set as far as actual stuff goes. Thank you to everyone who sent us gifts - this little girl is going to be totally decked out!

We are officially 34 weeks today....only 5 more weeks until we get to meet her! Here are some some pictures that were taken last week.

We are down to our weekly doctor's appointments now which is very exciting. I will see the doctor every Monday until I deliver!

Pink...It's my favorite color! (who knows the song?)

Progress alert on the nursery: We're at Level Pink! The room glows in the morning like there is some sort experiment taking place in a bubble gum factory. But it looks great!


We received our new glider. Mom and cat are very happy with it.


Now, we need to start putting stuff on the walls. Here are the pics. More to come....
