Mark your calendars! 3/3/08...that's the date!

Well, it's official! Your granddaughter/niece/friend's daughter has a date, time and place (very convenient, huh?). March 3, 2008, 7AM at Banner Desert Hospital, we will bring young Whats-her-name Fore into the world. no, we DON'T have a name yet and NO, we're not just saying that - even though we're not revealing the name prior to birth, even when we do find the perfect one.

So, with 2.5 months left, we've begun the transformation of an otherwise less-than-ordinary bedroom into a pink princess' palatial pad. We received our new bed linens (a Christmas present from Sue and Dave) and we've painted an accent wall to match our colors. We're going for unique baby chic. Much more to come in this department but here are some pics to get you started....

It's Still A Girl....!

Hello everyone. We have heard from many of you that we're not very good bloggers. Well, there hasn't been much to tell recently.

We have begun to put together the nursery and we have pics to share with you. Remember, this is VERY early in the decoration process. We will have a killer nursery when we're finished but right now it looks like we just threw in a crib and changing table...we did. I am thinking of leaving the drums, though. We need a musician in the family.

We're also happy to hear from you about how much you like the weekly background so here are the latest pics of Jenny and her belly.

IT'S A GIRL...!!!!

Well, it's official. We can stop calling the baby and "it" and refer to her properly now.

Now we just have to decide on a name. We had already agreed to a boy's name. Not so much for a girl. We have a good list started - just have to narrow it down.

Besides the girl news, everything with the ultrasound looked great!
She's got a big 'ole brain...like her dad!

She's got all her arms, legs and feet - and no extras.

She's got a gorgeous profile...like her mom! And she's much more flexible than either of us. Maybe a gymnast?

Jenny is feeling much better and starting to look more pregnant. It's really cute.

Well, enjoy the pics. More updates and pics of mom's development in a week or so.

Thanks for stopping by. We love you guys!

Wednesday is the big day!

Hello! It's Jenny. I thought I would say a few words even though it is pretty nice having someone write about you. Makes me feel like a celebrity....move over Paris!

So, Wednesday (10/10) is the big day....we find out what we are having! The general consensus with my work chums (there you go Dad) is a girl but some of my friends think boy because of the lovely headaches. I can't decide what I'm more excited about...finding out the sex or having Dave see the baby during the ultrasound. He was traveling for the first one so he didn't get to see how absolutely amazing it is and how much you can see! Of course every move the baby made was the cutest move I'd ever seen but I guess that's the way it's supposed to be. I really think he will be amazed with all the movement the little bugger is doing inside of me. I think I've felt a few flutters....mainly at night when I am lying down...and something keeps kicking me and telling me to make Ghirardelli brownies....silly baby.

Well, we will do another post Wednesday night to let everyone know the verdict so stay tuned! Go Colts!

Week 18 - This month's Dr. Appt went well...

Jenny had another Dr. appointment on Mon, 9/24. Dr. Busch (yep) said everything looked great. The first ultrasound looked good as well.

We thought we would have an ultrasound to find out the sex last week but the Dr. doesn't schedule that until week 20. So, we have a couple weeks to go. We really want to stop calling it an "it."

Everyone keeps asking us what we want. We just want a healthy baby. Boy or girl - we'll be happy either way.

Well, here are this week's pics of Jenny. Also, throwing in one of some gifts that our friends Derek and Rachel gave us. We'll let you guess which of us they were thinking of when they bought each of these gifts....

Week 14 - Not much belly yet

Well, we're beginning week 14. This week, we're posting our first of a weekly series of "belly development" pics.

Watch every week to see how Baby Fore (and Jenny) is growing.

Not much else to report this week. Jenny is feeling much better and having many fewer headaches. We're happy about that.

9/3/07 - Introducing Baby Fore - First Ultrasound

Well, here he OR she is....introducing Baby Fore.

This is our first entry on our new blog. We've created this site to give everyone the opportunity to keep up with all things Fore. Right now, the biggest thing going is Jenny. Well, she's not that big yet. But, we're looking forward to it!

We've just entered week 13 of the pregnancy. So far, things are going great. Just this week, Jenny began getting her appetite back, which is great - for both of us! It's really difficult trying to pick something for dinner when "nothing sounds good at all." Also, Jenny is feeling much better - headaches are easing and she's getting her normal energy back. We've even started working out again. We are so in tune with each other that I've been putting on sympathy weight.

As most of you know, last Monday was the day we heard the heartbeat for the first time. It was a very exciting time. Then, Wed, Jenny went in for her first ultrasound to take measurements to determine the potential for Down's Syndrome. The baby was not very cooperative so she had to go back on Thurs. They finally got a good picture to send off. We should know something in a few weeks. Either way, we can't wait to meet our baby and we will love him/her unconditionally.

Enough for now. We'll update as we get news or as we have future doctor appointments. Our next ultrasound is scheduled for 18 weeks. At that point we will find out the sex so we can quit calling the baby "it." And I can start buying fun stuff!

What do you think we're going to have? Give us your best guess.

Talk to you soon. Love, Jenny and Dave
