What you're about to see is magical! Ainsley and Eli got to meet Santa on the Polar Express train when we stopped at the North Pole. Santa gave both kids their own sleigh bell. And Ainsley got a big hug from her Christmas hero.

Halloween at Ainsley's school

Ainsley had a great time getting ready for her Halloween day at school this morning. She practiced her "roars" for Eli and was very excited that she had a real tail!

Is there a doctor in the house?

Ainsley decided baby Elmo needed tubes in his ears too so she's using all of her doctor gear to get him taken care of. Eli is just happy he's not in baby Elmo's position.

Eli makes a pretty girl

Ainsley thought Eli needed some help accessorizing his pajamas. She deemed that a hot pink headband and matching bow completed the outfit. They say ignorance is bliss....

Eli laughing video - turn up your sound!!

Unfortunately, there's a bad glare from the glass door but you can still get the idea. Ainsley is playing peek-a-boo with Eli and he's absolutely cracking up. This is the first time I have ever heard him laugh like this and I'm so happy I was able to capture it!

Eli's 6 month doctor visit!

Eli had his 6 month visit with the doctor this morning and all is well. The doctor was amazed at how strong he is and predicted that he would be crawling within a month.

His weight is at 16 lbs 14 oz (50th percentile) and his length is 27 3/4 in (90th percentile).

At Ainsley's 6 month visit she was 16 lbs 7 oz (48th percentile) and 28 inches (95th percentile).

Pretty close!

Bathtime

This picture I took of Eli tonight during his bath reminded me of Ainsley. She was just over 3 months old when her picture was taken.

Bad, bad Gloworm

Apparently Ainlsey had enough of her Gloworm this afternoon. Lucky for the Gloworm, her mommy had just finished cleaning her potty.

Weekend pictures

Ainsley really loved her Mardi Gras noise maker that her daddy brought back for her from New Orleans and Eli was digging his sister's purple Bumbo seat.

Eli's 2 month doctor appt

Eli had his two month doctor appt this morning. His weight is 12 lbs 2 oz which puts him in the 74th percentile. His length is 23.25 inches - 75th percentile and his head circumference is 15.75 inches - 52nd percentile.

I thought it would be interesting to compare him to Ainsley so I looked up her stats - weight 10 lbs 8 oz (50th percentile), length 23.50 inches (90th percentile) and 15 inches (25th percentile).

His coughing seems a little better and he's not puking as much after he eats so we are really happy about that. He's still stuffy (especially at night) but so far it hasn't been anything that we can't manage at home. He received 5 vaccinations today - two shots and one oral. He cried a little but was quite the trooper.

Eli's doctor appt

Eli had a follow up doctor appointment today with our pediatrician. He was happy to hear that his appetite is slowly coming back since he has lost a little over a pound since last Friday. He also wants us to give Eli breathing treatments twice a day because of the sounds he heard when listening to his lungs.

Here are new pictures of Ainsley and Eli...
